Steam's latest indie breakout success is Far Far West, a co-op robot cowboy shooter that climbed to the top of Steam's top seller list after its early access launch earlier this week. The first FPS project of French studio Evil Raptor, Far Far West racked up an impressive 250,000 sales in its first 48 hours, attracting so many players that it tripped its network provider's anti-DDoS protections.
At time of writing, it's sitting at an admirable Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam after 9,000 reviews, where players are saying it's like "if you put Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers in a blender"...
