Not all heroes wear capes… our Unsung Heroes series celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary work.

Today it’s Paco, 47, from Edinburgh, who trains guide dogs to help people living with visual impairments regain independence.

Which dog are you training at the moment?

Del, aged four (pictured). He loves eating kibble, walking in the park and playing with his ragdoll toy. He came to me for refresher training, he’s not been working recently due to a previous owner’s illness.

Did you always love dogs?
