A member of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT), the union involved in the Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 June Tube strikes, has said further walkouts are “inevitable” if the RMT’s dispute with Transport for London (TfL) continues, Metro reported.
When asked if any further strikes are planned, RMT’s London transport regional organiser, Jared Wood, told the publication that that’d be down to the union’s drivers and executives to decide in the future.
“We will get everyone together, and we’ll have a discussion about what the next steps are,” he told Metro, adding, “In the meantime, we would hope to have met the company again to see if there’s any shift in their position”.
