Prince William’s wife and children have paid tribute to him as ‘the best papa in the world’ to mark both Father’s Day and his 44th birthday.

Kensington Palace shared a picture of the Prince of Wales with his daughter, Princess Charlotte, accompanied by a message from Kate Middleton, Prince George, Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The touching post was captioned with the message: ‘Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World!

‘We love you very much. C, G, C & L,’ followed by two pink heart emojis.
